Training and Workshop
UMC, ATI is an empanelled training entity and has conducted capacity building
programmes for officials of the following urban sector schemes of Govt. of India:
Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT): Key
components are development of infrastructure in ULBs like Water Supply,
Sewerage and Septage, Storm Water Drainage, Non-motorized Urban Transport
and Green spaces/parks.
Smart Cities programme: Key components are city improvement (retrofitting),
city renewal (redevelopment) and city extension (greenfield development) and a
Pan-city initiative in which Smart Solutions are applied covering larger parts of the
city.
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Housing for All (PMAY-HFA): Key components
are In-situ Rehabilitation of existing slum dwellers using land as a resource
through private participation, Credit Linked Subsidy, Affordable Housing in
Partnership and Subsidy for Beneficiary-led individual house
construction/enhancement.
Deendayal Antoday Yojana-National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-
NULM): Key components are to provide shelters equipped with essential services
to urban homeless in a phased manner, address livelihood concerns of the urban
street vendors by facilitating access to suitable spaces, institutional credit, social
security and skills to the urban street vendors for accessing emerging market
opportunities.
Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban): Key components are installation of Household
toilets, Community toilets, Public toilets and Solid waste management.
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for conducting training under
AMRUT has been inked with the states of Tamil Nadu, Assam and Manipur.
Other client organizations include Housing & Urban Development Corporation
(HUDCO), GoI; State Urban Development Agency (SUDA), GoWB; German
Development Agency (GIZ); Irrigation and Waterways Directorate, GoWB and
Health & Family Welfare Department, GoWB.
