Training Activities
CPTSE has undertaken different training courses to develop the abilities of the
officials of School Education Department as well as teaching/ non-teaching staff s of
Government/ Government sponsored schools.
Training Methodologies: It includes Lecture, Discussion, Interactive Sessions, Case
Studies, Field Visits and Group Activities followed by presentation by the
participants.
Contents: The topic and contents are determined according to the training needs of
different target groups in consultation with the Department/ Directorate of Education
which usually include WB Service Rules (General Conditions), Conduct Rules for
Govt. Employees including Prevention of Corruption Act 1988, Introduction to
iOSMS, Leave Rules for Govt Employees, Procedure of Secondary Teacher's
appointment, Joining, approval /confirmation, conduct of MP/HS exam, ROPA 2019,
Pay Fixation and other financial benefits of Teachers, Introduction to ePension,
Banglar Shiksha, Planning in School Education with special reference to Data
Management.
Evaluation: Various forms of assessment like formative and summative as well as
internal validation process are used to assess the outcome of the training from
individual level as well as organizational level. Online forms have been developed to
generate MIS on the effectiveness of the training courses and shared with the
respective authority.
