One-Half Day Seminar at the Darbhanga Hall of Calcutta University on 7th January, 2007
One half day Seminar from 2 p.m to 6 p.m for multi-stakeholders and service providers liable under RTI Act, 2005 was held at the Darbhanga Hall of Calcutta University on 7th January, 2007 in association with Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) West Bengal Regional Branch and Bose Academy of Career Advancement where 08 (Eight) eminent speakers addressed the audience on important aspects of Right to Information. Among the speakers were present one leading journalist, three academicians from Jadavpur University, Calcutta University and NUJS, Kolkata and two senior, retired bureaucrats. The members of audience, numbering about 70, comprised of members of IIPA, W.B. Political Science Association, members of faculty from ATI, West Bengal and Bose Academy of Career Advancement. Feedback about the event was broadcasted by AIR, Kolkata during News, the next day.
